MOLOKAI RETREAT
Our Culminating Retreat is on the beautiful island of Molokai, Hawaii in Ho’Olani Retreat center. This magical Hawaiian island, with no streetlights and lucious nature, will allow our souls to merge with the land, the sun and moon, and with our own beautiful wisdom. We’ll leave strengthened, delighting in the newfound joy and sense of grounded vision flowing into our future.
Hui Ho'olana is now considered by many teachers to be one of the finest small workshop facilities in the world and the reforestation project is considered one of best ecosystem reconstruction projects in the state.
Adventures await if you want – you can snorkel in crystalline waters with a rainbow of tropical fish, enjoy a whale watching expedition, or hike through the rainforest. Rustling palms in this tropical paradise invite the heart to open. In the evening, the sounds of the sea and winds will gently lull you to sleep. This integration retreat reweaves the threads of your life to launch your next octave as a wise woman leader.
More about Ho’Olani Molokai Retreat Center Ho’Olani is a self-sustaining facility formed in 1994 that supports educational programs and native Hawaiian reforestation projects. Their goal is to provide an environment for inspiration, a safe haven for the growth and nurturing of the creative spirit. Into this learning environment they welcome us home to experience the peace and inspiration that can come to light in an atmosphere of acceptance, respect and support.
They live their wise leadership. “Malama ka 'aina (protecting the land) is at the heart of all we do. As we continue to explore living more simply, pursuing sustainability and practicing ho'oponopono (the Hawaiian concept 'to make things right'), we hope to create the circumstance for unlimited possibilities. Ho'olana is a word of hope and inspiration, 'the type of inspiration that floats up from within the heart.' It means to encourage, to float, to bring back into balance - as in righting a canoe; and to comfort those who are mourning.”
In 1997, the staff and team of volunteers began a reforestation project on the land, cutting down eroding eucalyptus trees and reintroducing native and endangered species. Since then, they have planted over 300 native species.
