What to Do When Your Confidence Wobbles?

Do you ever find that you are perplexed, confused, downright embarassed when all of a sudden your confidence wobbles or even takes a dive? I sure do. Sometimes it's almost like I got slimed - but by what?

When I'm out of whack I just wobble along, trying to act like nothing is wrong. When I'm paying a bit more attention I stop, take a breath, and ask myself what just happened. First I look outside - did someone just say something, ask me to do something, turn away from me somehow that stopped my breath? It's so tiny sometimes! Other times they might actually trying to dismiss me, or make me feel less than they are. But most of the time it's me to me. I see something or hear something and tell myself a story that makes me lose confidence.

What kind of story? I'm not enough, I'm too much, they are so cool (way cooler than me), they don't like me, they don't respect me... on and on the mind can come up with these disempowering phrases.

What about if i spent as much time implanting powerful phrases in my mind as I spend jabbing in disempowering phrases? Wow. That could be much more fun!

Fay Freed and I are going to share our stories, and plenty of examples of the women in our programs and that we coach in our upcoming Teleseminar What to Do When Your Confidence Wobbles.
