SOAR! We want you all to be able to soar.

Do you ever watch the Canadian geese soar across the sky? Their V shape always brings a smile to my face. You know why? Because they are so smart about supporting and caring for each other. One bird will take the lead position for a while, and then when she gets tired she drops back and another bird sets the pace. This is part of their nature.

When I get discouraged or run out of steam I don't remember to ask someone else to give me some support or to take the lead for a while. Do you? Instead I either push on past my limits or i quit flying all together, thinking that maybe i wasn't meant to fly after all. I know i'm not alone in this kind of crazy thinking.

It's so important to know how to ask for support and then receive it when it comes our way. That's one of the gifts of this SOAR! scholarship program developed by Me Ra Koh and Sony. All the partners, like Adobe, Sony, Chopping Block, and more!

I think that I'll make it my motto this year to remember to say yes to receiving lots of support.
