For more than twelve years, Fay was a senior staff member for The Hunger Project, www.thp.org, a global not-for-profit dedicated to ending hunger on the planet.During those years, pursuing her passion and dedication to being of service in the world, she helped The Hunger Project grow into a global enterprise with positive impact, especially for women - all over the planet.

She personally raised over $3 million, and managed a volunteer network that grew to over a thousand people in 40 cities around the United States committed to end hunger.

Fay’s commitment to empowering women evolved and transformed from that point onwards.

In 1994, Fay co-founded and was President of The Center for Women’s Leadership, whose purpose was to empower women to realize their personal power and to manifest their most heartfelt visions. Over the course of seven years, hundreds of women from all walks of life across the U.S. participated in the programs offered by the Center.

Out of her work with women and the programs developed by the Center, Fay generated a woman-centered community in the Bay Area. She lives in an intentional residential multi-generational community that has sustained itself for the past 14 years. The community is a fabric of support for the families that are involved as well as a seedbed for a myriad of philanthropic and socially responsible projects.

Fay has been coaching executives and entrepreneurs in Life Design for Success and Fulfillment for the past 20 years. Her clients have included women and men from various sectors, including health care, entertainment and non-governmental environmental groups.

She has lived in Novato, California with her husband and extended family for more than 14 years and is the mother of two college-age sons.

“My greatest privilege is to see women unfold into the full dimensions of their most glorious selves.” Fay Freed
